Back to School Night, Wednesday, September 15th, 7:00 to 9:00 PM. We will start with 1st period and end with "A" period. Come early and meet Mrs. Terranova in the amphitheater beginning at 6 PM. Bring a flashlight, if possible since the campus has some dark spots.     September 11th is the Men's Tennis Car Wash at Monte Vista from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. $10 per vehicle.     Picture re-takes and make-ups will be on Wednesday, September 15th, during the school day.

SRVUSD 2010 High School Summer Program at Dougherty Valley High School

Session A: June 21st - July 9th from 8:00 AM - 12:35 PM (No school July 5th)
Session B: July 12 - July 30th from 8:00 AM - 12:20 PM
 
Purpose of SRVUSD Summer School Program
The SRVUSD high school summer program is designed to offer courses for students needing ACADEMIC REMEDIATION for students needing to repeat a course already completed for which the student received a grade of "F" or "D," or who are behind in graduation credits. Placement in the 2010 Summer School Program shall be contingent upon completion and submission of all application materials by May 14th, 2010. Priority placement will be based on remediation of "F" grades and credit deficiency. Students desiring to remediate a "D" grade will be admitted on a space available basis. The summer school program does not offer opportunities for students who want to take a course in order to accelerate their academic program.

Summer Prep Program
 
Summer Prep for Algebra 1 Success
     Prep for Algebra 1 is a course designed for students who have successfully (C or 
     better) completed Transition to Algebra and are planning to take Algebra 1 in the
     Fall.
Summer Prep for Geometry Success
     Prep for Geometry is a course designed for students who have successfully (C or
     better) completed Algebra 1 and are planning to take Geometry in the Fall.
Summer Prep for Algebra 2 Success
     Prep for Algebra 2 is a course designed for students who have successfully (C or
     better) completed Algebra 1 and Geometry and are planning to take Algebra 2 in
     the Fall. This course is not for students who are repeating Algebra 1 or plan to
     take Algebra 1.
