Welcome to Monte Vista High School. Monte Vista is fully accredited and serves grades nine through twelve. Since the majority of our students go on to college, Monte Vista has a strong college preparatory program, which includes honors and Advanced Placement courses.

 

As a comprehensive high school, Monte Vista offers core courses in English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science and Physical Education. We also offer a wide range of elective courses in art, business, choral and instrumental music, and technology. Students are encouraged to explore these areas as well as courses offered by the Regional Occupation Program (ROP).

 

A wide variety of co-curricular activities are offered at Monte Vista. In addition to student government and boys’ and girls’ sports, there are academic competitions, speech and debate and drama opportunities, and an array of student clubs. We encourage every student to be involved during their attendance at Monte Vista.

 

Our excellent staff includes teachers, counselors, administrators, and support personnel at Monte Vista who are dedicated to helping students develop and achieve their goals. The administrative and counseling staff maintains an open door policy if you experience problems or have concerns.
